CHAPTER FOURTEEN – MILA

“What do you mean it’s too soon? Get back over here now, Mila! Poppa is starting to get anxious about you being away for so long.”

“I know, and I’m sorry, but I need at least another week. It’s taking longer than I expected, Paola, but I’m getting so close.”

“Do you know why? Probably because he’s growing suspicious of you. It’s not safe, and I’m starting to get scared.”

“No, he’s starting to trust me, Paola. He’s starting to open up, and I’m not coming home until I have answers!” I hiss into the phone.

“Dad is threatening to send Carmine over after you.”

“Do what it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll get back as soon as I can,” I promise.

“Mila!”

“I’ve got to go. He’s calling me.”

“Wait! You’re at his place?”

“Yes, I—”

Suddenly, I’m grabbed around the waist, lifted into the air, and pulled into the room. Tossed onto my back, I hastily end the call.

Alessandro’s knees pin me on either side as his head lowers, and he kisses me hungrily and greedily.

“I woke up, and you were gone,” he says.

“Yes, I decided to let you sleep a while longer. I know that you were tired after yesterday.”

After lunch, we toured the rest of the grounds around the main house, and then he’d taken me skinny dipping later. There’s a vineyard on his property for family use, not business purposes. We picked grapes and talked about family, both his and mine.

He asked many questions about my family, and I shared the history contrived for me in the program. I led him to believe that I’m an only child, which I am, that my mother passed away a couple of years ago, and I never knew my father. I told him there was no one else but me aside from my family in Naples.

We finished the evening with dinner in his garden as we watched the sunset.

“Not really. What I am is famished,” he says, kissing my neck.

Alessandro’s touch and kisses turn me on whether they are sweet and gentle or demanding and passionate like now. He always excites me with the feeling of his mouth on my lips, above and below.

I moan into the kiss this morning, thinking of how Paola just handed me my ass on a plate.

“Who were you speaking with?” Alessandro asks as he moves down my belly and to the apex of my thighs.

“A friend.”

“I’m a jealous man, Tesoro,” he says. “I don’t like sharing you with anyone. That friend had better not be a man.”

Laughing, I reply, “It wasn’t.”

“Buono.”

He pushes aside the robe I donned to step out onto his balcony. His nose nuzzles my labia, but he moves on, kissing my thighs, calves, and feet. Before going too far, he climbs out of bed and removes his boxers.

His dick protrudes from a thatch of dark hair, slightly crooked to the side with dark, angry veins running through it. I watch as he heads into his bathroom, and I send a quick text to Paolo, reassuring her that I’m okay.
